Eva Green Defends Her Banned Sin City Poster. Newer Version Released

Posted: June 5, 2014 in Movies

Eva Green in an interview with Vanity Fair had this to say about her infamous MPAA banned poster for Sin City: “I find it a bit odd. It seems like it’s all just publicity – a lot of noise for nothing.”

She goes on to add that she found the original poster “sexy” and that the whole controversy pales along side the violence of the movie.

“You have so many more violent things in the movie business,” she noted.

A less aureole revealing poster was released by The Weinstein Company.

The original that caused all the controversy can be seen below.

im really tired of all this bans that are often raised on movie and tv posters, every day raunchy pictures are used to promote food, clothing and other items by victoria secret models in skimpy dresses and no one bats an eye, the poster is just merely encapsulating the atmosphere of the movie
