The cheapest way to have a nice alternative art poster collection is to buy DVD reissues. Studios are increasingly turning to up and coming talent from the Poster Posse and the collection of talents that fuel the alternative poster gallery shows for cover art.
Sony Pictures in particular got 16 nice covers for their November 23rd Project Pop Art reissues by soliciting artists that have had showings at LA’s Gallery 1988. It makes sense to seek out artists that are both talented and true movie fans.
